Evaluation of Parallelism in Ant Colony Optimization Method for Numerical Solution of Optimal Control Problems
Abstract
In this paper, the ant colony optimization (ACO) method for solving optimal control problems is investigated from parallel processing viewpoint. The OpenMP implementation of this method is presented and compared with the MPI implementation. A numerical example is also given to show the accuracy of the method and to evaluate the parallel performance.
